Stearn-Joglekar, Ltd. is a Consulting Structural Engineering firm established in 1990. Our field of experience includes commercial, institutional, higher education, industrial, infrastructural, retail, and mid to high-rise residential projects. The majority of our projects are new construction, although we have vast experience in renovation, complex adaptive re-use projects and Historic Landmark projects throughout the Chicago urban fabric.
Our background in both Architecture and Structural Engineering gives us a unique understanding of the Architectural intent of each project. We take pride in the fact that we are a small consulting group of fewer than 10 engineers, and we maintain direct principal involvement as a standard on all of our projects. The firm is a Licensed Professional Design Firm registered in the State of Illinois, and is a Certified Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) in the City of Chicago, and State of Illinois.
Our list of projects includes many award winning projects with the Chicago Park District, the Chicago Transit Authority, Public Libraries, University School Buildings, and Historic Landmark Renovation Projects.
